Check out supermom's last question, and, of course, I have a question too.

What do you think about petitioning Yahoo for a missing kids category? Maybe add in Most Wanted criminals?

Of course, once Yahoo's responsible for helping solve a case, we're never gonna hear the end of it from them... But I really think we could do some good here, while we sit idly racking up imaginary points.

K, maybe supermom got a spam email, but her idea is a pretty good one, isn't it?

I mean, in the US alone there's what, 20,000 people who use yahoo answers regularly? (I'm guessing). And we're all pretty much spread across the states... So, how effective do you think it could be?

Well, if you bear in mind that this is actually a global site, you'll realise that what you are saying is an even better idea than what you seem to think. Yes, they should have a 'missing persons' category, maybe with slightly different rules than on here, or maybe they should set up a missing persons site. Good idea little chipmunk dude. :)

I think there's a big possibility for abuse, as well as a liability for Yahoo. There are many websites you can go to if you want to help look for missing kids or hunt down wanted criminals if you feel like this is a waste of time.

Well, if you're missing a kid, yahoo! answers isn't where you should look...try the police or the FBI. <_<

the internet's great, but people on here most likely aren't going to be able to help you.

same with the criminals.
