I could be wrong, but you may have to check within your state's statutes, but I believe any soup kitchen, church, any facility related to helping people will help you with Volunteer work, They always need volunteers for a variety of many different things, as far as being employed as I said you have to check the laws in your state. There is a child labor act that protects children, so that they do not work under a certain age. I hope that helps you.
Thank You, Sandi

If you'd like some ideas for places you might not normally think of ... here are a few. Veterinary hospitals often allow you to care for dogs and cats recovering from surgery. Stables will let you clean the horses and sometimes you even get to take them for a ride if they need exercise and you know a bit about riding. And seniors homes always need help feeding their patients at meal-times, and that can be very rewarding.

Most communities have a volunteer resource center. Check with your local city government for this number, and good luck.

I am not sure of your area. You may try some of the local hospitals. They used to call them candy stripers. They would assist with pushing patients to xrays and other small details. You may check with the volunteer office. Good Luck

An old age home might need some young faces around. Many residents don't get too many visitors.
