Give him enough rope to hang himself, you're better off not being around someone like that, or committing any more of your energy to it. There's a much better job out there waiting for you.

Let your co-workers know what happened and ask one if you can use them as a refernce. Word gets around.

The best revenge is to run into them in a year and let it slip you've got a better position, better work environment, and are probably making more money than they are.

Since you are already fired, I would go up the chain of command and inform his bosses, the CEO, and HR via email or phone if you cannot get access to your workplace anymore. Whether anything will happen is questionable, but at least you will get their attention and look into it to prevent lawsuits later.

What goes around comes around. So they will get theirs in time. Most companies unfortunately side with management. However I have always wanted to mail some jerk boss a big old box of dog poo. My mother wanted to do the same thing when she was working...guess it runs in the family!!!! Neither of us did it, but it is fun to stink, I mean think, about it.

You could file a lawsuit for wrongful termination. However, trust me - whatever you decide to do, you are much better off without that particular job! Your best bet is to find another, better job and get on with your life. When your old boss sees you again all happy and prosperous in spite of his efforts to screw you up, that's sweet revenge!

Do you have prove that you were "set up"? Because if not, there wouldn`t be much you can do. You would look like a bitter ex-emplyee.

If you can prove that you were set-up, file a labor case so that a formal investigation can be made.
