Despite the KNICKS being a perennial bottom dweller in the NBA for years and MANY quesitonable trades having taken place , one thing is for certain . Isaiah Thomas who drafted Damon Stoudemire and many other NBA great talents has an eye for talent . OBVIOUSLY he saw something in this player that others did NOT see , and having played with Dennis Rodman , he reminded him of Dennis . I don't know where the KNicks will end up , but Isiah has NEVER had a bad NBA draft , just bad seasons .

i imagine Isiah Thomas and the Knicks drafted Balkman for favor and not in any respect skills. for sure, Marcus Williams is a extra proficient participant who can score, pressure, pass, etc yet he's a 6'3 preserve and the Knicks do not favor yet another preserve. they're loaded in that position with Marbury, Francis and Jamal Crawford. So, the Knicks drafted Balkman, who's a ahead, and he looks a scrappy sort of participant a l. a. Jerome Williams the "Junkyard dogs" or Charles Oakley. Balkman can rebound the ball and play protection and that is what the Knicks favor.

Renaldo Balkman was the MVP of the NIT tournament, which was played in New York. Isaiah obviously got a better look at him than some other coaches did. I'll say this - he was a stud in the NIT. And with as many ball hawks (or hogs) as the Knicks already have, in Balkman they are getting a guy who will be content to rebound and defend (his strengths) and get second-chance points. Dennis Rodman, anyone?

Renaldo will have you eating your words very soon! He was the most talented, yet underrated player in the draft. He's got the heart and dedication to make the Knicks good again. Give him a chance, and he'll give you a show.

There is no way he intentionaly sabotaged the Knicks. How the knicks do this season determines whether or not he keeps his job. He is not stupid. He would not intentionally sabotage his own well being. He would not intentionally set himself up to be fired. He will just be fired because he makes bad decisions. But, not because it was his intention to do so.

Seems like it, maybe he wants to get fired before the season starts. Williams made more sense, almost anyone else made more sense. Sorry to the Knick fans, go Grizzlies!!!

This is it...clearly the worst pick in the draft. At best a 2nd-rounder...maybe not even that.
