Every child is brought into this world for a reason. I would just take the extra time and look into everything that child might need to be helped when he/she was born. I would love it no matter what.

It's difficult for both parents to make that decision. To some it would be an easy thing to do. Terminate the pregnancy that is so as not to allow the child to suffer an agonizing child hood. Some children are born with Cerebral Palsy, some with MS, some are born with disfigurements. For all these children though there is a purpose and that purpose is to make us realize of how imperfect we are ourselves. They are brought into the world with a problem already and they grow up dealing and accepting that it's the way they are not the way they should be. We still love them no matter. To the end I may say. Whether a burden or not we take care of them and they live their life out where ever they may be. Lovely people the handicapped. Sooo kind if you get to know them as they are then you'd understand why you didn't abort them. Just think about it.

It would depend on the disability. If I was having a child with no legs then I would give birth and raise a happy child with no legs. If my child was being born with some serious genetic mutation that would cause him/her to be in pain and die a miserable death at a young age then I would terminate the pregnancy. I think it would be cruel to bring a child into this world if you knew that their quality of life would be terrible.

No one can predict the future, even if your child is disabled. Certainly it will be more difficult however history is full of stories about "special' people who we call disabled who in their own ways were gifted beyond what a "normal" person could be considered. If you make that decision then you will never find peace within your mind and spirit as doubt will always be there. If you carry the pregnancy to term then yes it might be harder but I also find that many "special" people bring out and bless exponentially with love so much greater than we ever could anticipate. My answer would be NO, every life is full of unforeseen potential and the Gifts of God are so many times mysterious in nature and form yet over time and beyond it's what we can't see that reveals so much to our eyes.

My answer is NO! The way I see it is God has everyone's life planned out before they are even thought of. I believe there is a reason for everything and a child with a disability is a blessing just as every other child.

Depends on how severe the disablity would be, and how it would affect their quality of life. It just doesn't seem fair to bring a child into the world knowing it would suffer through its whole existance and die at an early age.

When I was 17, I had a MMR shot before I found out that I was pregnant. They told me that I would probably have a retarded child. I asked them to test for it, they said that it wouldnt show up on ultrasound. I had a chance to abort then.
I kept him. Teenager, pregnant, alone, lost my college scholarship, no money, not sure how I was going to pull it off, but I decided that he was my baby and if he was going to be retarded, so be it.
He's now 13, in a gifted & talented curriculum, and girls call my house more often than I breathe. He's been dubbed most handsome in his class, and is the most intelligent of his peers.
And - oh, by the way - the child that they told me would be retarded, is not retarded in any way.

Depends on what the disability is . I wouldn't want to bring a child in the world that would always be suffering .

Besically your question is, "would you MURDER a child for being disable?" Would you? Of coarse not, so why would you kill YOUR child? It's not legally murder, but a fetus is still alive. It can still feel pain.
Also a lot of medical advances are going on, so it probably wouldn't be too dificult on him. Also if he was born that way, he wouldn't know/feel the diference(s) so it wouldn't be like he was suffering. Look at all the enjoyment you would destroy, if you done that to him.

No, every child is a gift from God. Some women aren't able to have children and even if it has a disability, it still needs to be loved.
