i don't have any need to lie, sometimes the truth has to hurt

There are different degrees of lying, which lying is never the best policy, sometimes we do it, even little white ones.
Yes, it does make you dishonest, when you lie, and it makes you a deceitful person.
The worst of lying is when you betray someone. When you betray a person by lying, cheating and being deceitful you are breaking that trust you have built with that person and it
can be a truly heart breaking and devastating experience for those involved.
I don't care how good anyone is at lying it always catches up with you. It's called Karma.

Everyone lies. Even if you were just a kid or you lie so as not to hurt someones feelings. Your boyfriend gets a new haircut and he say how do I look. Are you going to say, wow, you look like a jerk. No, I don't think so. Or your girlfriend says,I got a new dress ,how do I look and she looks like a cow, are you going to say, well, honey, you look like a cow take it back. NOOOOOO! Sometimes lying can be good, its the intent behind the lie. If you are stealing from someone and lie and say you aren't ,thats bad.LOtusrain

I lie when I don't have the heart to tell someone the real truth, like when my mom got a new hairdo she was so proud of but it really looked awful, or when my friend asks: How do I look in these jeans? and I say: ok I guess, when I really want to say : You look like a stuffed sausage! I guess we all lie to some extent! Don't you?

I lie sometimes, nobody tells the truth all the time, but I consider myself an honest person.

I really really try to be as honest as possible.
I mean of course, everyone gets in positions where they have to keep secrets and deny things (say a surprise party) and I hate to do it, but it's like, you have to keep secrets.
but just to lie about something unnecessarily, no. to lie means you have to keep your story straight, and you have to hope you don't get caught. then when you do get caught, people don't trust you anymore.
simpler to tell the truth.

i lie for a living, i persuade people that i am someone i am not.
im an actor, so am i dishonest? NO!!!
