Why is cocaine always lined on a mirror or another reflective surface?

Smooth hard surface (excellect for razor blades, doesn't cut through it or leave grooves)

Easy to clean before (you don't want any junk mixing in with it) and after (you can use a wet finger tip or your tongue on it to get every morsel left behind)

Easiest to see (no background distraction so you don't miss any)

Convenience (mirrors are everywhere, just about any size will do and it's easier to pass around)

My guess is it doesn't need to be shiny, but it needs to be really, really smooth. Cause if you put it on a table or something it would get stuck in the cracks and such. It just needs to be a surface that loses as little powder as possible to the surface, cause it's really f***ing expensive powder.

also, a mirror makes a nice smooth surface where you can lay your face down to snort.
not that I've done that, just saw it on TV

beacuse it doesn't stick to that surface like it could to others. also you can see if you got it all.
