NO. "THOU SHALT NOT STEAL" IS ONE OF OUR CREATOR'S COMMANDMENTS. IT DOES NOT MATTER WHETHER IT IS A PIECE OF GUM OR A VEHICLE. IT IS STILL STEALING AND IT IS BREAKING OUR CREATOR'S LAW OF COMMANDMENTS. NO, NO, NO! IT IS WRONG.

Thou Shalt Not Steal is one of God's commandments. If you steal, no matter the reason, it would make you a thief and damage your own soul. That thief will have to answer for his own sin eventually, as all souls are God's and all souls return to God when we die. Report the thief to the proper authority, be it a teacher, policeman, or parent. Let someone else deal with the thief. Tell the victim who the thief is. Keep your own hands clean.

Are you Robin Hood? Or you just one of the band of merry men?

Two wrongs don't make a right. Steer clear.

If the thief catches you he could do some serious damage to you. If the cops catch you they could do some serious damage. If you don't get caught but your victim/friend knows that you did, they now have something on you.

All around, it is just bad news. Revenge is a tasteless dish, even when served cold.
