I would move, buy a car help my Daughter financially and still live pretty frugally. A million dollars, in this day and age isn't all that much. I would make some wise investments. I would start a non-profit cat shelter. I would grow vegetables and fruit to help homeless people and people on very limited incomes. I would hire a patent attorney to get some of my invention ideas off the ground to make more money. I would publish books and poetry. I would write songs. First of all, I would thank God and pay off all my bills. I would tithe a lot of money!

I'd buy you a house (I would buy you a house)
If I had a million dollars (If I had a million dollars)
I'd buy you furniture for your house (maybe a nice chesterfield or an ottoman)
If I had a million dollars...I'd buy your love!!!

If I had a million dollars though, I'd go shopping... : P

Pay off all my bills, give a certain amount to each of my children and grandchildren so as to have a start in life.
Build a mansion of a home. Build a home for the use of helping abused children! I would also be sure that I gave my Mom & Dad a large amount for all they have done for me. Use some to help the poor (the real ones)!
And I would put away in the bank enough to live on the rest of my life so I didn't have to work at a job under someone else, so that I could devote my time all to helping the abused children with healing. I believe we should follow the path of our hearts and all else shall come to us as needed.

Well I would buy my dream home and vehicle. My home would not be huge but would have all the necessities that I would want or need. I would want an SUV for family outings. I would put away all of my children's tuition. All of these things would be bought because in my opinion they are necessities. It would also be nice to go on a vacation and go shopping and buy whatever I wanted and not have to worry about the price tag. Of course I would be able to donate more as well to my favourite charities. I would probably even start my own business to build my fortune, cause nothing lasts forever.

I'd either open an orphanage or a chain of 24/7 day care centers. I like kids and I know there are many out there who need a decent parental situation and others whose single mother would like to get a job when conventional daycare isn't available.

I'd put it into an index fund that matches the performance of the S&P 500 until the next cataclysmic earthquake strikes the western seaboard. I would then buy up as much of the distressed land as possible and start my own cult.

I would give half away, and save the other half. I wouldn't spend any of it within the first 6 months at least like most people would. When something comes along that I need, or want, I would buy it.

Put a bunch in a trust fund for my son, and travel.
Oh, and I wouldn't tell anyone, because if I did, people would be coming out of the woodwork trying to be my best friend so I'd spend money on them.
