I believe that would be cigarette commercials. There was also a time when cirgarettes were not allowed in film. I think "reality" won out over protecting our children because smoking has become more common in movies now. However, unlike films like, Rebel Without a Cause, where smoking was glorified, the newer films frequently feature characters who's smoking is a bad attribute. I am thinking of the first Jurassic Park where the bad guy (sorry, the name escapes me) is a chain smoker.
