Use kerosene. It really works the ants will be gone for about a month so you need to spray it monthly Spray it on yheir trails and they die instantly and dont come back for about a month. Its the smell that repels them.

this works in the kitchen and bathroom or anyplace w/o carpet. take a piece of chalk and go along the perimeter of the room. ants will not cross over the chalk.

mix equal parts of cat food (canned), grape jelly & boric acid. make a thick paste. place them around the outside of your house. it attracts them, they carry back to queen she eats and dies of heartburn!! lol
without the queen they will either elect a new one or go elsewhere.
