I met Hulk Hogan when i was 7 and i got a picture with him and The Big Boss Man, Jimmy Heart, Tugboat, and some others were with him as well. but i also met bon jovi that same year i went to his concert in anchorage and then we were on the same plane ride the next day to hawaii. Then three summers ago I met B.B King he was at the airport and bought some DVD's from me at the store I worked at. Then two summers ago I went and saw Ani DiFranco in concert and walked across the street to get a beer and she was there so that was awesome. I can't say which one is the most famous but it was pretty interesting.

The best three - it is a toss up as to which is more famous:

Samuel Jackson - my hubby, teenage daughter and I got turned around in NYC while vacationing (we walked or rode the subway everywhere) and ended up in Riverside Park instead of Central Park. We asked this guy who was walking his dog about how to get to the castle that they have featured in a couple of movies. He said we were in the wrong park, and then actually took us to the correct place - along the way giving us a mini tour of the area in which he was living - we went past his place! Very nice guy, down to earth, quiet, distinguished, and did not act all uppity or anything. In fact, as he was walking, he said hi to the garbage man and the post man - by first names back and forth. That says a lot about a person's character. We did not even realize it was him until afterward, how goofy were we? We did eat at his favorite deli that he pointed out to us on the way - delicious food.

We also met Bill Clinton when he was governor of Arkansas, while walking through the capitol there. He invited us to his office for a few minutes and gave us some "Arkansas diamonds" as souveniors. He also treated us nicely and was very gracious.

When I was bartending for a charity function, I got to meet and talk with Harrison Ford for a bit - he received an award that evening for environmental issues. Very quiet, a bit shy, captivating smile and he did not look as old in person. He also put up with a lot of jokes about Indiana Jones and I gained a lot of respect for him that night while having a front row seat so to say. He had only one glass of wine, and nursed it.

All in all, I think I have been triple lucky in the famous people department.

I don't think I've actually met anyone famous... I saw Al Cowlings (the guy driving O.J.'s white Bronco) at the airport... and I saw Richard Lewis when I had jury duty--we were in the same pool of jurors... and Mike Babcock (former Mighty Ducks coach/current Red Wings coach) walked right past me at the Pond. Sad huh?
