Just tell her as nice as possible that you need that money she borrowed from you as soon as possible cause you have plans with that money. She should not get mad anyways cause you was nice enough to give it to her. If she does get upset then you know better to lend her money again because she obviously is not thinking about your needs and only thinking of her own.

You may not achieve this ! Just ask her politely for it . Tell her you need / want to spend YOUR money . Has she held on to it longer than agreed or is the problem that you didn't make any agreement as to the length of the loan ? Or is she in the bad habit of borrowing from you ?
If she gets mad at you asking for YOUR money back then she is NO friend unless, of course, you know you are asking for your money back too soon when you knew from the outset how long or for what purpose she would need it . Lending money is VERY tricky .Don't do it unless you are absolutely sure of the person and the situation .Good luck .

Carefully give her a heads up. Don't just approach her like it's nothing. Let her know you're serious about this problem and serious about fixing it. It would be good if you could make a plan for getting better grades or some sort of compromise, like you will do your homework before you do ANYTHING else when you get home. You could also suggest that the two of you look over your schoolwork over this break. Ask her for help, if you need it. You could suggest a sort of punishment for yourself before she even mentions punishment, like "Mom, I'm not going to go on the computer for a while after school begins again because I really need to bring up my grades." That's all I can think of right now. Good luck!

ask your friend does she knows somebody for you to get some money borrowed for a week.
Or tell her the money she borrowed from is not needed urgently its fine to get it from another week/or two weeks time. & also you can give your account number and tell her its ok if she deposit it by one/two weeks time No hurry.
Or just let her understand that you are having some hard time with money.

and next time remember when u give money to a friend make sure you Only lend an ammount which you could forget.

I would remind her that she has the money. I would tell her that I need it now for an emergency in the family. This way it doesn't put her on the spot, if she forgets. Also it makes an excuse that sounds valid and doesn't embarrass either of you.

Just be honest and tell her that you really need back the money you lent her because you need to pay off "insert phrase here." Give her a couple weeks to get it together - but tell her you absolutely need it by a certain date.
