well i hate to burst your bubble but i do not want women in war so i am a pig thankyou .women are weaker and only able to produce a portion of what a man can do .by the way paper pushers are not real men. a man works hard sweats and makes something a whimpy man trades money and does a womens work why management is paid to sit around is beyond me women could do it part time and raise the kids while real men worked to provide shelter and goods to make life more enjoyable.for there familys .and single sweety guys could satisfy a womans lust for a strong man able to take a woman and give her what she realy wants .

It isn't ok, not in my book anyway. I don't consider myself to be a feminist but lets face it, men will never have the role of being a stay at home dad. Not only because the baby didn't come out of them but because women are just more caring. It is really only ok for them to break out of the traditional roles recently, like 40 years, which is a really short time in comparison to how many years we have been in the home. It is ok because women have too much power these days. It isn't equal things have become biased against the men.

Valid point... In both salaries and numbers. I overheard a conversation the other day at the next table while we were dining... apparently male models don't make anywhere near what females make! Who knew?! I'll bet there are a lot of other examples too. What about daycare workers? They'd probably throw away your application the moment you walked out the door and start muttering about pedophiles. Totally unfair.

More and more, men are becoming the stay-at-home helpers while Mom goes out to work, and when I was working as a secretary, men were starting to come into the office as office workers.
I believe that if one is happy doing one's work, what does sex have to do with it? Women are still hitting "the glass ceiling" and men are still paid more to do the same jobs. I do not know if this will ever change. Men do not want women to have as much power or priviledge as they do. More and more, women are making their own opportunities.

I agree. Wouldn't I get flogged tarred and feathered if I started a "Straight pride week" or a "Straight pride parade" in the the center of a major city. Or what if I opened a "Straight bar."?

I'll believe in total equality when men start giving birth. (particularly that man who called women wimps, or something to that effect)

Unfortunately, it's very embedded in people. With more awareness of these things, I believe there's hope for change.
