Imagine being able to take notes twice as fast and take information down when people speak! But who wants to spend months learning traditional shorthand? Now you don’t have to. EasyScript is logical. It makes sense. Existing shorthand methods are based on learning of a large volume of random and hard-to-memorize abbreviations which require months of studying and daily usage of the symbols memorized. Those abbreviations that are not used daily cannot be remembered when needed. EasyScript is a simple, easy-to-learn, easy-to-remember, shorthand and speedwriting method. It is logical and makes sense…
You’ d keep easily taking notes at meetings, in school and on the phone
You’d keep accurate rack of “all the facts” in any conversation
You wouldn’t miss a word taking and transcribing dictation
Your hand would flow as fast as your ideas when writing letters and report
Best of all, you can master EasyScript in just a few hours with these audio programs:

There are ads all of the time for court-reporting school, and shorthand is taught at most community colleges.

I don't think it is in demand anymore. People are typing for themselves or there is now software that will convert voice into text that has replaced stenographers.
