Ok I have a great book for you, If you like to laugh and are a teenager, you should read the Georgia Nicolson books by Lousie Renningson. Its a series about a teenage girl that lives in England and I have to say its the most hilarious series I have ever read. All of the books are about 250 pages long so you should definatly look it up!

Depends on what you like. I just finished reading Inkheart and Inkspell and I love them, but they're over 200 pages. I checked out a book called The Blue Girl and it's really good. It's about a rebel who tries to make it through school and life and such. Then there's Angus Thongs and Full-Frontal Snogging( sounds weird but it's the funniest book I've read) Hope my suggestions help!

Read The Bromeliad Trilogy by Terry Pratchett. I don't care what your age, you will love it.. It was not something I would have picked up on my own, I don't think, but my friend read a bit of it to me, and I was hooked. Try it. It's more than 200 pages, but I think you can deal with it. Never choose a book by the page count.. you will deprive yourself of some of the very best literature out there.

Free ebooks http://www.free-ebooks.net/
Or I have just bought 'The Da Vinci Code' in ebook form from http://www.ereader.com/search?keywords=da+vinci+code I don't know how many pages there are in the hard copy, but the way the ebook is formatted there are 700 short pages. I also got 5 ebooks free with purchase.
Or for a shorter read you could buy the spoof on it called 'The Asti Spumante Code' which I haven't read yet but is supposed to be very funny, and is 247 small hard copy pages .

Well, I'm not quite sure how old you are or anything, but A Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess is a great book.
And you can read some books online. Some you can find for free, others you have to pay for, you just have to know where to look.

you're going to have a hard time reading books online, especially for free. my advice is go to the Goodwill Store, they have tons of books for like a dollar.
or you can always go to Barnes and Noble and just sit and read a book there. if you're interested in buying one, you can actually get good books for 5-10 bucks if you know what you're looking for.
as far as what to suggest, that's hard since I don't know how old you are. children's lit abounds with great authors, like Lois Lowry, Jerry Spinelli, Katherine Patterson, and Louis Sachar.
if you're a bit older, try John Grisham or even Charlotte Bronte. if you like horror films, check out Dean Koontz. if you like romances, look up Nicholas Sparks. if you like comedy, try Douglas Adams. and if you like memoirs, read Angela's Ashes.
but the old saying is true, you can't judge a book by its title. you'll never really know until you get out there and give authors a try.
my advice is, go to a bookstore and ask what people your age are reading. pick up a few of them, read the first chapter of each, and if anything perks your interest, keep it.
