I'd like some reasonably priced restaurants that are close to the hospital area. Just common foods, nothing extravagant. This is mainly for an older couple to go to lunch or dinner. Thanks!

I live VERY close the Medical Center. The only places I've seen are Luby's, Sonic, Taco Cabana. Ummmmm, I'm trying to think. I just moved here. There's a bunch of stuff on Holcombe, if you take a left from Fannin. Also the Rice Outdoor Mall has places like Jason's Deli, and whatnot. That's not too far, either, just about 3 miles or so. But if you want to stick close by with some nice restaurants, I'd recommend Holcombe. You'll definitely find something.

you HAVE to go to Cleburne cafeteria. It is the BEST cafeteria ever! Reasonably priced, huge portions, basic foods. And older people (young peeps too) LOVE it. I know I do!!!

address is
3606 Bissonnet

It's 3.5 miles from MD Anderson Hospital
