I work ten hours a day. My wife stays at home and takes care of our two boys (2 yrs and the other 6 mths). We find it difficult to find time and energy to have a sex life. On the weekends we clean house, do family events, and keep the boys occupied. Needless to say even when we are off, we still have a full days work. We want to have sex but, we have no energy after the boys go to bed. We have no availability of a babysitter.

Even if intimate time has to be planned out and stuck on the calendar, make an effort to plan for it. It is an important part of your relationship. Make a plan for bedtime and put off doing a couple extra chores until the next day so you have some energy.

I have 2 children also, mine are older now, but as example I work 11 hours a day and my husband is lucky if he makes it in before midnight.... A lot of times when our children was younger it was more of a quickie than anything, but now that they are 12 and 8 we have lots of time....when they was young, we just kinds found time even though we are tired..you and your wife still have to make time for yourselves at 2 and 6 months they should be in bed early even if you take a relaxing bath together to get the both of you calmed down is a good way to start the night off between the both of you...remember that even if you have to hire a babysitter for a few hours it may be worth just to have your wife to yourself....good luck

I am a mother of four and my secret is getting the kids to do activities while my husband is a work so we could have our nights. A woman is more energetic than a man so we don't tire as easily so her duties could be light during the day. She has to make sure to keep the kids busy all day, no naps, take them a cooling bath, feed them and then put them down to something soothing. On your days off, be spontaneous and just have your kicks behind a door or in the closet but close enough to hear the kids in the room.

We have run into a simular problem, basically... you have to take it when you can get it.... When the 6 month old is a bit older it will be easier to get them on a sleeping routine... work on this. Try not to tire yourselves out either... clean up around the house each day... get yourselves on a routine as well, then eventually you won't be too tired at the end of the day that you can't take a little time for yourselves as well.
it will get better.

wow, no babysitter! Then how about on the days off that you are not working, try a quick session while the kids are napping. I know that isn't all romantic, but it is a start in the right direction. What do you know, it may be kindof kinky trying to be quiet and not wake the kids.

I've heard that cruise ships have babysitters on board. That is if you do not have any family that can help babysit even for a night while you go to a nice hotel for a getaway.

Nap times are perfect. And asking a friend or sum one in a play group to sit for a couple of hours helps too.
