Is Ignorance really bliss? Just because you're a heterosexual or a homosexual doesn't mean you cant find the opposite or same sex attractive. I think everyone has that one person of same sex or opposite that they'd like to share a "special" moment with. I think part of it was hype too. Just gives you something extra to gossip about. be a little more open minded will you?

No, I don't think it's strange. Despite our sexual preferences we all still find other things attractive. There are some women I think are drop-dead gorgeous, and some very old men I think are sexy, but that doesn't mean I prefer to be with other women or old men.
