this is not recommended for children as they can develop reyes syndrome... do use tylenol elixir or motrin elixir for children..... ask your pediatrician if you are not certain which is best.....

It depends, did his Pediatrician prescribe it? If his Pediatrician has prescribed it then I would say yes. If you are trying to medicate him on your own without a medical consult first, then no.
