If so, why are they blocking the streets during rallies that causes heavy traffic to the whole city? Why are they littering on the streets that is already dirty? Why are they putting on graffiti on the walls and posts? Why are they taking the innocent children with them?

If they are asking for change, it should start from them. They are againts the politicians but its the ordinary people who are absorbing the damage.

Why cant they invest their time and skills to help the poor or do volunteer works? Most of them are from UP, PUP and other good schools? Is intelligence cannot be measured by high grades and college diploma?

Whats your opinion?

gapdreambabe => Thanks to your PERFECT grammar asnwer. However, my English teacher taught me that:

1. You should not start a sentence with a small letter.
2. Never use BUT, AND, OR to start a sentence.
3. You should put a comma after 'enjoying'.

I'm not perfect in English but I can perfectly speak and write my national language. Nothing to be ashamed of. I can also speak and write Spanish and Japanese. How about you?

You're nothing but a second rate trying hard copycat!

An activist's goal is not to litter the streets and spray grafitti, even though it does sometimes happen. Their intent is always to deliver a message, usually political, in the most visible and unavoidable manner possible.

Activists have their rightful place in any democratic society. They are a necessary part in such societies because they perform a checks and balances function on it, which keeps, say, the military or powerful government officials at their best behavior, relatively speaking.

If it weren't for activists, Marcos would still be in power or that a radical faction of the military may BE in power right now.

my opinion? your grammar sucks & your english teacher should be fired.

with regards to your question, it is true that a lot of people see these protesters as mere disturbance to our daily activities. but do take note that their constant clamors have contributed to what ordinary Filipinos are enjoying like increase in wages & oil price regulations.

good for you, your teacher taught you that! i bet you flunked her class! if you didn't, she should really be fired then! again, good for you if you can really write in Nipongo & Spanish fluently but that doesn't change that your english grammar still sucks.

Everybody has their opinion right here within the USA and it is their correct given to them through our protectors the baddest a** kicking army on this planet. Those folks who reside within the USA and criticize each and every element of it is lifestyles are Hippocrates they revel in each and every freedom we will have but they don't admire or give a contribution to our country in any type. I'll admit our nation would no longer be excellent whenever it has it is flaws however which nation on this planet does not have flaws, through many specifications USA continues to be the finest country on this planet. Most instabilities in our nation aren't the peoples fault it is the govt and it is insurance policies / politics that may make a nice nation have rough occasions. Militant groups and activists do not love their country because they can air their grievances through another means by not littering the streets and causing traffic. All they want is to show that the country is in shambles which drives aways the investors that gives employment to people.

yes, they love the country very much, and they are ready to lay their lives for the principles they are trying to impose. however, it's not for the current government system or present administration they are clamouring, they want to change it to communism or whatever political party....if their grievances are against the corrupt officials, why assasinate people not in accordance with their "principles" instead of the "corrupts"?
and why do they demand higher wages instead of a profit and loss sharing venture with their employers? they deemed capitalist are selfish, but they do not see it on themselves. .they would prefer the company give them all the benefits and unlimited paid overtimes instead of letting another batch of worker take their extra shifts.
