Ask your doctor for Cimetadine pills. There's a 50/50 chance they'll work, but if they do, they're a MIRACLE. I had about 160 warts on my hands, the worst case my doctor had ever seen in his career, and I started taking the pills he gave me... pretty soon, they had all fallen off painlessly, and without leaving any nasty scars behind. It got rid of the plantar's wart that was on my pinky toe, too. Good luck!

If a plantar wart is a result of the Candida fungus (yeast), which some of the other answers seem to indicate (especially the one that found athlete's foot cream effective - cause yeast is the cause of athlete's feet), then yogurt - the plain, no fruit, unsweetened kind may help.
Eat it, and also dab a bit on the wart and rub it in like cream.

My daughter (5 years) had a wart on her foot I bought special bandaids that came with a special price too $8.00 a box, i tried compound W and that stunk too.
Try Duct tape . Cover it for a couple days and then replace only if it is falling off. It kind of swells up and disappears. **** Luck. My doctor told me it works and it did!!

You can buy the cream medicine for athletics foot and apply it twice daily. If you do go to a doctor, just do not use the liquid acid. My stepson used if and only managed to eat a hole in the bottom of his foot; to the point he could not walk for a week. You can buy the off brand and it will foot just as well as the name brand creams. You will notice that they will start going away in about a week or two.

Well I have two suggestions...........(1)go to the doctor and have them remove it.........(2)use a piece of duct tape big enough to cover it and reapply a new piece as needed......I realize this sounds strange but give it a try, it does work
