Could be that it was jarred and an internal component is not seated properly. If you are comfortable with doing so, you can try reseating the memory, hard drive, wifi card, etc... to see if that fixes the problem. If you are not comfortable doing so, take it to someone who is.

could a lot of things, check the ac adapter, and see if it is putting out the right amount of voltage, if it is not that, then is an internal problem and someone who can work on laptops need to check it out

Maybe it needs to charge the battery

just before you right it off try connecting an external monitor to the laptop and see if you get anything.
