There's been several "similar" and "possible" planets which I've read about over the last few years. If/when its possible to actually go there, bet your bottom dollar that the government will make certain it has a firm grasp of it and control all aspects of it
first off. After that would be the process of exploitation of said planet(s).

Other life??? If any were found or did exist, how is it possible that human beings could or would have ANY idea what so ever of cohabitation??? Humans destroy everything they come in contact with! Themselves, one another, our environment.... Are you joking??? One countries basic faiths and beliefs vs. another for example... How many people (total) have already been killed in Iraq???? And you're wondering about another planet!!!???

Its far better that whatever may lie ahead for us on this planet STAYS on THIS planet! Human beings as a whole are simply not worthy and haven't earned the right to journey forth to the stars! We should take care of things like the common cold and pollution HERE first long before even thinking of spreading our cancer in such a manner!

So to answer your question.... NO! It would not solve any of the problems here.

i was watching something on the discovery channel a while back, about a planet like ours that could exist, this planet is apparently closer to the sun than ours is and its alittle smaller, but yet it doesn't move, so the side the sun in shineing on has water and some land, and on the land supossiblely there is gaint tree like flower creatures that are alive, but dont move, they basically are a shade for the other creature like things that are liveing on this so called planet simular to planet earth and the other side of this planet that has no sun to it, it's dark, cold, snow and icy! im not even sure if this planet really exist, because i think it was some kind of myth buster or mystery show!

If you're talking about the planet out in the orbit about where Pluto is that is the 10th discovered planet in our system, then it's too small of a planet and way too cold. It's almost just a moon.
