Think of all your interests & ask yourself if any of those could be expanded into a business. Just keep in mind...what's your expertise? What are your interests? What could you imagine yourself doing?
By researching the prospect of starting your own business -- what it entails, what you need to know, helpful hints, etc -- you'll feel better prepared to take that plunge.
I found some book titles that are relevant to your specific question:
* 101 Internet Businesses You Can Start from Home by Susan Sweeney
* The Best Home Businesses for the 21st Century by Paul Edwards
* Selling Online: How to Become a Successful E-Commerce Merchant by Jim Carroll
* I Could Do Anything If I Only Knew What It Was: How to Discover What You Really Want and How to Get It by Barbara Sher
* I Don't Know What I Want, But I Know It's Not This: A Step-by-Step Guide to Finding Gratifying Work by Julie Jansen
* The Best Internet Businesses You Can Start by Marian Betancourt
* The Shoestring Entrepreneur's Guide to Internet Start-Ups by Robert Spiegel
* Making a Living Without a Job : Winning Ways For Creating Work That You Love by Barbara Winter
I also posted some article links in the source box.
Hope that helps! I wish you much success & happiness in all your ventures!

I would recommend you the most profitable online business which is fully automated. This homebased business is very much different from other business which requires lot of time, energy and money. This incredible system allows you to earn fortune without selling, advertising, prospecting, closing or answering questions. It works 24/ 7 and you can earn profit for each automatic sale, sitting in your home, enjoying life with family and friends or on vacation. . This system allows you to earn $3000 everyday. This business has been selected to be featured in National television ( Discovery channel and CNN )
Visit the website and then place the CALLBACK request to see how powerful the system is.

Here's something good for a first timer, try Cognigen. They're really easy with the best income bracket. Registration is free and no startup cost at all. They offer a large variety of retail to the public so you are bound to sell something. Pay is based on commission so you can sell as little or as much as you like. You don't even have to leave your home, they give you a website to use, for free!!

What do you like to do? What are your interests? That might be a better place to start- many things may have the potential to be lucrative, but if you aren't passionate about them, they won't work. Find what you love, love what find! Good luck!

My friend Teri T. started a business in her home almost three years ago. Now she makes a net income of over $15,000 per month. She says she will show me how to do this but that I will need a success oriented woman to help me. I have been looking for the right person. If you think that you are that person, please write to me at boatclub@go.com . I will have Teri call you and explain more details.

Make a website where house for sale and rent can post on your site for a small fee or a website where businesses in your area can advertise their business for a small fee.
I hope these help.

If you like animals, dog grooming is HUGE around here (Midwest). You have to schedule a month in advance to get in anywhere in town (there are 5 groomers in a 5K person town).
Ultimately, you have to find an interest of your own, or you won't end up believing in it or promoting it well.

What are you interested in?
Let's face it - if you don't like what you're doing, you won't do very good at it, but if you enjoy something, you put more effort into it and ultimately you succeed.
