Oh just buy her a new box. Yes, if my friend left food with me and said enjoy, it probably would have been all gone, but is it worth people getting upset over?

Sounds like something else must be going on there. Or it was a simple misunderstanding and it will blow over, if she wasn't really mad.
If she stays mad, ask her what seems to be upsetting her, tell her you've noticed that she's just not acting like herself lately. You don't have to take it personally, and it probably has nothing to do with you or that food. See if you can let her vent, then maybe you'll both feel better about everything. :)

If your friend told you to enjoy the food that usually means eat it so no she doesn't, but why don't you ask her why she got mad at you. It can't hurt.

No, she doesn't have the right to be mad at you if she left it there and told you to enjoy it. But maybe you should have called her to let her know that she left it there. Tell her if she's that worried about it, then you will replace it.

I'd ask her if you misunderstood something. If someone tells me to enjoy some food and leaves it for a week... well sorry...I'm gonna eat it.

Your friend doesn't have the right to be mad at you because he/she said ''enjoy it'', that may mean ''eat it or do whatever you want to it''. so that means that when your friend told you that, the food was now yours, so you could eat it. so don't worry.
