Take the keyboard apart and clean the inside with rubbing alcohol. There should be screws on the back. Undo those, then pry the top and the bottom apart (carefully, you shouldn't need to pull too hard). All the keys should be on the top part and the bottom should be a flat plastic part with wires inside (depending on the keyboard). Gently clean everywhere that the buttons make contact with ispropyl rubbing alcohol on cotton balls. Make sure it's completely dry before putting it back together.

PS: Depending on the type of keyboard, you can't really pop off individual keys without breaking it. You're better off just taking it apart so you don't risk breaking anything.

Sometimes hardware fails. Keyboards are cheap enough that you could just buy another one for $5 to $10 at the right store. Better yet, see if you have a friend who has upgraded to a wireless or better keyboard and ask if you could have it for a $1.

Stick something under it and pop it out (like a tooth pick) the carefully clean the connection underneath with a Q tip with a little bit of alcohol on it (barely damp) then put the bottuon back on

a laptop keyboard usually runs around $75. try the alcohol trick first.

you could also hook up a regular external keyboard, usb if you don't have a keyboard port, as a temp fix

pop the key off and see if something is stuck beside it holding it down,, take a q tip and try to clean around it in case it has something sticky on it.
Hope this helps, when your done just put the key back on.
