If you don't want to pay by the minute, you will need to enter into a contract for monthly minutes. Cingular & Verizon have the widest networks and therefore the best signals. Cingular has the latest GSM technology. Cingular also has a feature whereby you can carry forward unused anytime minutes.
All cell companies offer free phones nowadays when you sign up for a 2 year contract. Needless to say, they all offer free camera phones (for example, Razr) and bluetooth enabled phones. Check out www.amazon.com and www.inphonic.com for deals for free phones. I think the inphonic site will even offer free bluetooth headsets for certain selected phones (otherwise you can also buy bluetooth headsets for $20-30).

I think you should go with T-Mobile. The plans start from $29.99 a month with alot of features. They also have really good prices of phones! There are currently 2 free (web-discount) flip/camera phones from samsung and nokia right now. Very Nice! But, I am thinking about the Pink Motorola RAZR V3 for only $39.99! Greatest Price ever!Good Luck! -♥-Tracie

verizon and tmobile can kiss the fattest part of my a*ss. My bet is either Sprint or Cingular. I own a Samsung A900. it's the RAZR killer. looks cool, has any feature you need. 1.3 MP camera that you can print directly to your printer with your USB cable without having to download and then print. Capable of all those things you need and some that you don't. MP3 player and useful stuff like calendar and world clocks. sprint has a feature that if you go over your minutes for the month, they'll add an additional 50 min for 5 bucks to save yourself from overage charges. my plan is 400 min/month for $40. nights/weekends free and they start at 7pm whereas everyone else starts at 9pm. best bet, can't go wrong. Cingular with their rollover is pretty cool too. as far as stuff like ringtones and wallpapers go, sprint is probably the most expensive of all of them so look to free sites for that stuff.

Well I have the Sprint Samsung A900. The minute packages are ok, I have 1000 for 49 dollars. I also have free pcs to pcs, unlimited texting and night starting at 6. Sprint is more for younger types. Tmobile I know loads you up on minutes for a good deal. Allegedly they have pretty bad servie and a poor choice of phones

metropcs has a plan that is $45 dollars and that is unlimited minutes and texting it includes call waiting and caller id also. the cheapest phone starts at $99 and that includes the first month of service for free. go to www. metropcs.com the camera phones are a bit more expensive. I am well pleased with metropcs as my provider. they have no contract and you pay a month in advance for the service. for my phone it came to $106.99 that was for the phone and insurance (one month free service and free activation)

I have had Cingular for about a year now and I love it. The rollover is awesome. As far as phones go, I love my brand new Sony Ericcson W600i.

My personal favorite is cingular because of rollover and that a lot of people are in it for free talking. You could check out www.letstalk.com since they have really good cheap or free phones with plans for any provider you want.
