thats what my husband tells me...LOL...really, NO! respect yourself and you will be respected, like yourself and you will be liked. be kind, be fair, be nice, be honest, really just respect yourself, cause if ya do you will automatically respect other people and that is very attractive and popular! sex is an intimate part of a loving relationship, end of story.

no way. Sex is a personal choice but in not way does it make a person popular or not. The only thing sex can do is give you a bad repuation at school as a slut (and other things, popular not being one). You might actually be surprised to how many people are still virgins or atleast only slept with one or two people.

Well it depends on age group really, like for me i am a senior at high school, so technicly it is popular, but if u are a freshman then no, it really depends on age group, and in the end no, people do have lustfull desires, and well want to get off, so evrybody tries to make it seem that sex is going to make you popular, but in the end it can kill you, especialy with random people, there are so many viruses and std's out there, it aint funny, and not only that but the chance of pregnacy. So in the end, sex is protrayed in the media and specific age groups as 'if your gonna have sex, its makes you popular' so in what boils down to it, no it doesnt make you popular, it just helps people realease sexual tension

People use sex for popularity, but as you get older you realize the it's a false popularity not based on how you are but what you give to people superficially. Don't sell yourself short; have sex for the right reasons!

Sex does not make you popular in school it makes others think you are a slut. What makes you popular is being a leader not a follower. A show of confidence is very attractive. And showing that you are unattainable is good.

how about being popular for your style, or intelligence, or humor, or personality, or something besides sex. sex should not be used to gain popularity. why would you want people to like you for having sex? it doesn't take much to spread your legs...but it takes a lot to overcome a bad reputation.

No, coz then your going to be really discusted about yourself. And well, some people might think it's cool, but It's not healthy. It's going to be a waste if you lose your virginity just to be popular. Trust me, you are going to hate yourself if you do.
