Well, there are several ways to view webpages offline. There are so many that i having a hard time deciding where to start.
If you are using Internet Explorer then i recommend three applications.
1. Install the Windows Live toolbar beta and include the Onfolio module. Using Onfolio, you can capture portions of a webpage or the entire webpage. You can categories them with folder and subfolders. When you are finished, disconnect from the Internet and read the pages at your leisure. 2. HTTrack Website Copier for Windows 3.41 Beta 2
is a software program that can download webpages that you choose. Use the wizard to setup the webpages you want to save. This is how it works, I set digg.com as the website i want to save. Digg.com website is filled with several links, i can choose to save the webpages of those links. It's very easy to use. All you have to do is connect to the Internet and start HTTrack. HTTrack will start downloading the webpages you specified. You can walk away and go about your business. HTTrack will alert you when it is finished. 3. You can choose to use the [toread] bookmarklet. toread.cc allows you to email webpages to yourself. Go to toread.cc and enter your email address (e.g. Yahoo! mail). Afterwards, it generates a bookmarklet to add to IE toolbar. Say you discovered an interesting webpage but you don't have time to read it. So, you click on the [toread] bookmarklet and the entire webpage will be email to your address. When you have some free time, go to your email account and look at the webpages from [toread] It works better if you have a desktop email client (Outlook or Outlook Express). (http://toread.cc/)
If you are using Firefox or Opera, you have even choices. If you need more info, just drop me an email.
