Messenger......that's a Columbia ball, no? And a little old school! That's cool. I still through a Purple Beast!!! SSHH!!! heeheehee.....

Last couple years I've been throwing a Riot Zone. Love that ball. But it's starting to break down a little. That's the problem with reactive resin balls. They're so soft you can't hardly resurface them more than once.

The newest thing out is something called T.C.T. It's Thermal Contact Technology and it's suppose to forgive more and hit harder. Mainly found on Elite balls. Don't know too much about the technology to give any insight.

I've heard good things about 'The One' series from Ebonite. Been thinking about upgrading lately and may look into this series.

If you need shoes, I highly recommend Dexter's SST7's. Great shoes. I actually have the SST5's, but they're basically the same shoe. They have interchangable soles and heels for different approach conditions. A great investment!

Good luck and hope this helps!

I'm pretty sure they're still round with 3 holes.
