Yes, it is possible for you to install the sound card, if, you can purchase a sound card from computer hardware shop, tell the configuration of ur computer to them, they'll give you the best compatible sound card for ur PC presuming a PCI sound card, it should come with installation instruction guide and driver disk. Then, just open the cabinet of the CPU, look for the PCI slot (white in colour), plug in the sound card into it and screw it up properly, remember to power off the computer before doing above task. Then close the cabinet, turn on the computer. windows will detect the new sound card recently installed and will ask for the driver for it, just insert the disk came with sound card, and follow the instructions by using instruction guide came with the sound card. Remember to restart the computer if it ask to do so. Enjoy.

It sure is, you can get a PCI sound Card at any computer store, I would suggest Sound Blaster 5.1 or higer. Just install it in a PCI slot, disable the onboard sound in the BIOS, install the drivers and away you go.

you should, without know the exact computer, it is impossibel to tell for sure, if there is an empty PCI slot, you can get a sound blaster for about 10.00 or less, install the drivers, and get speakers,
