Magic Mushrooms are an amazing experience.
Advice-
-get the right ones
-challenge yourself to think ( dont just use them to get "****** up")
-before going into it be happy
-find the right people, environment, and music to do it, this is different for everyone depending on your personality, personally, i find mushrooms are best used at concerts or a place with alot of stimulation.
- do it with someone else, regardless of what you think, a friend is always helpful, i would suggest having someone who is also experiencing mushrooms.
- never think "i want this to be over", it only goes downhill from there
- listen to the allman brothers or maze by phish at least once

pretty much like LSD and lasts from 6 to 8 hours. Not as bad the day after though. The day after LSD trip, your spinal column feels like a sponge and with shrooms that doesn't happen
