Brazil won the world cup in 1994. Before that, they had won this title for the last time in 1970.
If you add up: 1970 + 1994 = 3964
Argentina won the world cup for the last time in 1986. Before that only in 1978.
And 1978 + 1986 = 3964
Germany, though, won the world cup in 1990. Before that,Germany won in
1974.
Look: 1990 + 1974 = 3964
This could lead us to guess the winner of the World Cup in 2002, since it should be the winner of the 1962 World Cup (In fact 3964 - 2002 = 1962).And Brazil won the world cup in 1962! (And, in fact, Brazil won the 2002
WC)
This numerology seems to work...
And now, who would be the winner of the 2006 world cup?
Let's see, 3964 - 2006 = 1958
And who won in 1958?....
Oh, Brazil did!!!

although there is an error in your logics:
- for the winners of 1994, 1986 and 1990 the logics are correct, as you added the year the winner won and the year the winner won the last time
- but for the winners of 2002 and the possible winner of 2006 there is an error: you should continue your logics by adding the year the team won and the year the team won the last time, so for the 2002 winner the total is (2002+1994 = 3996; 2006+2002 = 4008, so it cannot be brazil)...
- also, your logics don't work for argentina (1978+0 = 1978), italy (1982+1938 = 3920) and france (1998+0 = 1998)
but here's something interesting for you (as you seem to be a fan of brazil and i'm a fan of italy, lol):
- brazil took 24 years to win their 4th world cup (1970-1994) and who won the 1982 world cup? - italy...

What so you telling me that Brasil will win again on European soil against Germany in the Finals like in 1958 Brasil won agaist Sweden in the finals:0 that will be shame for Europeans it is impassible.
