No polite way to put this. I need help because my husband bought some guinea fowl to keep insect population down during summer. My MIL is coming in 2 days and she will be as repulsed as I am, because the guineas won't stay off porch, sidewalks around house. Placing "fake" snakes around doesn't work. I need help. Please...

Make a little enclosure on your porch for a dog or cat. If no dog or cat is available, you may substitute 1 MIL. This will keep the birds away.

Ha! I have goose and chicken poop on the porch! I feel your pain. If the porch is raised, put a little gate at the bottom of the stairs. I've been thinking about doing that for a while. If's it's not raised, can you fence it off? My chickens are lazy, it's not worth it to fly over.

Sorry for your luck! Guinea fowl are some of the most obnoxious, willful creatures I have ever encountered. They tend to run and roost wherever they like, and they always make a mess. Your husband has made a tradeoff here, and it seems like you came up on the short end! If you want to get rid of them, good luck catching them. They're like little roadrunners!

Plastic furnishings covers. I had some and that they don't scare hassle-free. a minimum of plastic backyard furnishings covers are much less complicated to get rid of than their droppings. additionally call them guineas rooster to dodge confusion. Vaya con DIOS
