I'm guessing you're referring to the monorail that links various hotels. Yes, it's worth using in that you can hop from one end of the strip to the other very easily. Monorail only links hotels that are owned by the same company.

I go to Las Vegas all of the time and I never uses the monorails that you have to pay to ride. I sometimes use the free ones between Mandalay Bay, Luxor and Excalibur and the one between Monte Carlo and Bellagios.

The problem with all of them is you have to walk so far to get to them because they are all behind the hotels. Then when you get where you are going you have to walk back through the hotel to the strip or casino. Its faster to just walk the strip. Taking the monorails you miss all of the things that are going on outside on the Strip.

Skip the monos.

OK, three people gave you misinformation so far. They have confused the Las Vegas Monorail with little ones on the west side of the strip that connect Mandalay Bay-Luxor-Excalibur, and the Mirage-TI. But as for the LV Monorail...the prices have gone up because people aren't using it as much as was hoped, and for good reason. The stations behind the hotels are a long, tedious walk back into and through each building. Also, the stations are only behind the hotels on the east side of the Strip, so you still have to cross another long way to get to Caesars, Bellagio, Venetian, etc. But it can work if you're just trying to get north-south on the east side. I find it easier to drive, myself. Valet parking is only $2. see lvmonorail.com

The monorail was a great addition and worth every penny. I end up travelling up and down the strip and to the Convention Centre and not only does it save me time, it saves a bit of cash. I usually stay at Harrahs, but love to go to dinner at ESPN Bar in New York New York...the monorail saves me tons of time.

The Las Vegas Monorail is a big failure from the point of a transportation system. The fare costs US$ 3...

I assume that you are talking about the MGM-Sahura rail. Yes, its worth it, unless you like your exercise walking and have the time to walk the distance. The other monorails are free.

Why no longer reliable swimming pools? The swimming pools would be open then because it fairly is the main suitable climate in that month right here. so which you would be able to evaluate Flamingo which has a great pool section. on your record i could advise Harrahs. forget approximately approximately Stratosphere and Riviera as they are too some distance faraway from the main significant part of the strip. IP has a super region yet till you go with to spend the smallest volume of money on a room then ward off them yet that is my 2nd determination on your record.

Dont even bother with the monorail! Make sure you take good walking shoes and enjoy every site on foot! You'll thank me later!

It's cheap and gets you around if you don't have a car while visiting. I hear it gets "invaded" by Star Trek characters occasionally from the Hilton.

no because it only goes through five hotels and you have to walk to far to get there from the strip it also is five dollars each way
