Don't know if that's the correct spelling. However, I have two kids and I must say that I have practiced this exercises "on a regular basis." How do you know if its working. I don't want to go into the details, but for those of you who know what I'm talking about, please let me know.

if you want it for incontinence than you should feel that you don't have to pee that often and if it's for sex, you should do them while your partner is inside of you and he can tell you if he feels the contractions (he should feel them)

It's to tightens the virginal muscles. I do that too... I read from a magazine, they advise you can do it for 5 mins each time, anywhere as long as you are comfortable. You should count 4 times for each squeeze and release. And also I read from a magazine, they advise us (esp women) not to pee all out at once. We should try pee some and stop for awhile, and pee out again.. this is good for the urine control.
You can also do the kegal exercise when you are making love with your husband. They do feel the different and the different is tightness. Try it! Men with ED problem can use this too. It's too pump blood to their penis.

You may not notice any change in bladder control until after 6 to 12 weeks of daily exercises. Still, most women notice an improvement after just a few weeks. You can also be checked with biofeedback to make sure you are doing them right. Biofeedback allows you to see, feel, or hear when an exercise is being performed correctly.

It's "Kegel", and yes, the exercising of the vaginal muscles does work. I know for a fact, from experience. I've been told that I have a very "young" feeling one, even though I'm in my fifties. I continue to do them. The exercising of the vaginal muscles benefits both partners because it keeps your vaginal walls tight, especially if you keep doing them. The tightening of your vaginal walls during intercourse gives much pleasure to your man. I do them every chance I get; nobody can tell when you're doing them either, which is great!!! You can do them sitting, standing, walking, whenever! Another plus is, that as we get older, "she" tends to leak & if "her"muscles are in good shape you won't need any surgery to keep your panties dry

The Kegel exercises definitely help! Stronger vaginal muscles can increase the intensity of your orgasm, assist with future births, and decrease the risk of having trouble with urinary incontinence. Also, your husband can enjoy you too during sex when you can lightly squeeze him! One way to tell if it is working is to start and stop urinary flow. It is also a good way to further exercise! Any exercise is good for you :-)

It tightens the muscles, I would keep it up, and you can do them anywhere, which is the nice thing, I don't think you can ever do too many of them
