What's wrong with an am/fm cassette with headphones or a portable cd player with headphones? Why waste the money on an ipod that you then waste even more time on loading lots of mp3s. Get a cheap radio and, if it breaks, get a new one.

if its your private gym, suggest a boombox. If it's at a club gym , an mp3 player would be handy. Ipod and popular and stylish , but the COULD break , so if you have to get an Ipod (or have a sincere urge) if possible get a warantee. if you cant get a warantee ,but have warantied cell, most cellphones have a radio enhancement , all you would need is the correct earbud attachment.

I'm preety sure all standard -equiped Nokia phones have , but i cant be sure, hope this helps!

hmm i dont think its a terrible idea, but theyre pretty expensive and you would probably go through batteries like water. if you want it and want access to that many songs at one time then go for it, but i would think that a portable radio or plain old cd player is probably more worth your while. just my opinion :) im sure youll be happy with whatever you decide
