Preston Reed.

He's an awesome fingerstyle guitar player. I recently saw him in concert and was blown away by his technique and style. I bought two of his cd's on the spot and will absolutely see him in concert again the next time he's touring the States.

Steve Morse. Lead gutarist of the [Dixie] Dregs. Check out his solo album The Introduction. He's won Guitar Player's Player of the Year honors multiple times [early 80's?] but most folks don't know him.
