Pretty much its jealousy. I don't have many girl- friends for that reason! Alot of girls are competitive with each other. I know if I met a pretty girl I wouldnt think anything of it, Same as with an ugly chick. It really depends on the environment also I think. Basically women do it by instinct.
Exactly what oracle said only I cant word it that good LOL

Jealousy , being mean spirited, insecurity, unchristian-and the fact that females still very much look at other females as competition so if a female is prettier immediately they become afraid that their men will become attracted to her instead of them or boys, men in general--since they can't compete with physical appearances they attack the other females spirit, to take away her confidence , to hurt her and so on. A girl or woman who is secure in her appearance and knows who she is-who has it together is not threatened and therefore can be friends with someone that is prettier for knows it takes more to be a woman.

It's because if a girl thinks she's pretty, she's usually a stuck-up person and other girls don't like her. Or it's just that someone wants to start drama. Because a lot of girls are stupid and can find nothing better to do with their time.

To understand this, you must understand basic human nature. For those of us with self - esteem problems, it feels as if the easiest way to feel better about ourselves is to tear someone else down. The truth of the matter is that it will never produce anything good for anyone, least of all you, to spread hate or discord for any reason.

Some girls see the pretty girls as the enemy - and as snobs. This is stereotyping just as much as any other kind. Girls can be mean, jealous, afraid the pretty girls will steal their boyfriends, etc. People should know people pretty well before judging them - as all people are individuals.

well it is sometime because of jealousy but sometime it is because of personalities clashes and some female have certain standard of friends slim fit beauty etc... and they sometime discriminate against females outside their circle unfair but that is how some are so you have the females with the wall up to protect themselves even if it means being rude again unfair but everyone do not mix well

basically its just jealously rearing its ugly head, when these girls see someone else who is prettier, has better clothes than them, has a boyfriend they secretly wish they had, or lives better than them they get insecure because they are displaying something that the jealous person wants and doesnt know how to get, therefore they get mad and jealous over it and instead of seeing what the girls has as something positive and trying to be happy for her and realizing that no one can have everything they get mad and instead have the opposite react to it.....
