I am caucasian, and am only attracted to other caucasians. It does not mean I can't be friends with someone who is of a different nationality. It is just a preference, like being straight or gay. Don't get your undies in such a bunch over it.

I don't feel that choosing not to date a person of a different color is always racist. They just may not be attracted to certain physical attributes that are stereotypical or that race. I myself am a white female but if you were to ask me if I would ever want to be with a white man I would tell you no.... not because I don't like them because they are white but because I prefer darker skin and the prominent features that are generally associated with black males. In some cases however it does have to do with race. Sometimes because their family never approved of it and it made home life uncomfortable and sometimes because they don't want to deal with the drama that tends to be linked with inter-racial couples. I, as a unit in an inter-racial couple, do not take any offense.... it's just their preference

I personally date another race.. and am engaged actually.

Some people just aren't attracted to a certain race and I don't think it is ALWAYS racist - probably only 25% of the time is it racist..

I am white and I am just not attracted to whites.. Only to hispanics.. and since attraction is such a big factor for dating that's usually what happens.

Unless someone is just against all inter-racial mixing alltogether it is usually not racist - just a personal preference..

It is natural for people to gravitate towards being in a relationship with someone with whom they have the most in common, which is why many people tend to date within their own race. Also, most people would like their children/grandchildren to look like them. I think that white girls (and their parents) in particular worry about being a "trophy" for a man of another race. I have also heard that some black men feel the same way, that women of other races like them because the assume they are bigger and better in bed.

What some human beings fail to comprehend is that all women of each race are unique. If all of us were a similar it may get genuine uninteresting. each race has something particular to make a contribution to the international. some purely won't be able to get over themselves to work out it.

I'd say mostly it's fear. They are afraid to to be judged by family maybe? I think it's really hot try something new. It's true I married someone that's the same race as me, but I'm glad I dated and was friends with different kinds of people first.

They left me with good memories.

I don't think there's one reason for this. Depending on the person there can be just 1 or quite a few. It could be because of what other people might say, or afraid of the differences, or the biggie...it's OK to be friends but I wouldn't want my daughter to marry a white, black, Asian, or Native American man. I think it all boils down to fear.

It is everyone's choice on who they will or will not date. Simple as that. Does not mean they are racist for not wanting to date a different race.

That's easy.

We have to respect one another, so it is perfectly alright to speak to members of a different race. But we must not be 'unequally yoked' --and by dating another race, we are definitely setting ourselves up for being unequally yoked, and a lifetime of insults, ridicule, unfair treatment, etc. It's not worth it. Just remember to try to date better than yourself, not worse. Never be unequally yoked.

THERE IS ONLY ONE RACE
IT IS THE HUMAN RACE
We are all the same
I HATE seeing RACES Please eliminate the "S"
Use nationality or something.

Now for the question
It is absolutly not wrong to date someone of another race.

People Who say no are useally scared to explore new cultures.
