PLEASE READ THIS
I was pregnant at 16, my mother disowned me, everyone I knew encouraged me and supported me should I choose abortion. I researched it, I read everything I could, I had a consult. In the Dr's office there was a picture on the wall, the serenity prayer- Accept the things you cannot change, courage to change the things you can, wisdom to know the difference.....
I learned all I could about my preborn, I needed to know what would happen, what exactly I was doing by having an abortion. Take responsibility and become fully informed by a variety of different resources and make an educated decision!
Even if you do go forward with your plan for abortion you will never forget this baby, you will always wonder, believe me this may seem difficult now but living the rest of your life wondering will be very painful for you- everyone I know who has had an abortion agrees-
Today that pregnancy when I was 16 is now a thriving remarkable honor student in college- she is 19, she saved my life in the sense that I had no idea how strong, how courageous, and how determined I could be! I did it- all those people who believed I should have an abortion are gone now- I never see or hear from them- my very sweet daughter is here, I would not trade it for anything in the world.
Now, I do not know your circumstances other than the plain fact that there is a life within you - and you don't know mine, however, I urge you to rethink your decision! You are a mother, and I know you can do it!
I am not in favor of abortion in 90% of all scenarios, nonetheless, I am not judging you and trust that you will do what you believe is right. DO NOT LET FEAR BLOCK YOUR PATH OR IMPULSE LET YOUR WAY.
Only in the best intention.

All I can do is tell you my experience and hope that it helps. I found myself unexpectedly pregnant with my third child. I was not married to the father, nor was I planning on marrying him. He was in no way emotionally, physically, or financially able to help me raise this child. Since I also had two other children to care for, I could not raise this baby on my own. I, too, considered abortion. I couldn't do it. This child was inside of me because of me, not because it wanted to be there. I chose adoption. I chose the family my baby would go to. I chose the type of adoption it would be. I met the couple I chose before the baby was born and we really hit it off. On January 6, 2006 I gave birth to a 9 lb. 13 oz. baby boy. I didn't just create a child. I created parents, a family. If you truly feel you have no other choice, then do what you must. If you're afraid you couldn't make it on your own to give the baby up for adoption, there are a lot of agencies (including the adoption agency) that can give you assistance to make sure you and the baby stay healthy. Good luck to you.

Jess, you ALWAYS have a choice. I believe that people may be pressuring you to kill your baby, but NOTHING is worth taking the life of your child. You know this. You are asking people not to call you a murderer, and that shows that you know what abortion is. It is no different than killing a one-month old, or a one-year old. Your baby is just smaller and harder to see.
Your baby's life hangs in the balance. She is depending on you to do the right thing. You have to be strong, or you will suffer for the rest of your life. Here are photos of what your baby looked like at just seven and eight weeks:

Here are photos of aborted babies at nine weeks and ten weeks:

You may have seen these photos before. You need to see them again, to remind yourself of what is at stake.

Yes, you can get an abortion in NY but you need to pay like the rest of us.
The best place to go is the local planned parenthood office. They will help you though the entire procedure, provide great followup and advise on birth control for a reasonable fee.

Honey, that is your choice. I assume you may get one in NY regardless of your residence. As long as abortions are a 1 times mistake option and not birth control I see nothing wrong with it.

You CAN get an abortion, but you'll have to pay for it just like we do...If you go back to Canada, your national health service (I'm guessing here) would pay for it.
I'm sorry you're having to go through this...

I believe you can still get an abortion. Especially since we have open borders with canada, I don't see why it would matter.

I guess that when you really don't have a choice, then abortion can be used.

Try pregnancy decision or planned parenthood. i think it's still legal. I think they just passed a law about going out of the town you live in.
