I'm very serious in this reply, I'm not young and have noticed people for a long time.
I believe that things you become obsessed with your addicted to. I believe that you get so much into something that your life becomes unbalanced. Everything should be in moderation and these things become their God. It is not so much as a rot as you don't see the whole picture and you fall deeper into narrow thinking instead of experiencing life on a whole. The naked body has been around in art and history forever. Porn in not new. But when it becomes the center of your universe....you are not living.

Porn is a tool and it can be used for many things sexual. My husband and I used to watch porn together and our brains have not rotted. In fact, it made us feel more alive. Adds a little spice when the bedroom activities become a little dull.

That actually depends if you are addicted to porn, if it runs your life like you take a day off from work to watch porn and jack off, then yeah it does rot your brain.

No not at all. At-least no more than reality TV, sitcoms, game shows and all the other crap that media produces. Porn is just another form of misunderstood media which is constantly fighting for mainstream acceptance, quite to similar to video games.

Porn in fact has actually been pretty useful to all media mediums. "The sex industry represents a significant portion of the world's economy, and has been credited with driving technological advances in popular media, such as home video and DVD, pay-per-view, live streaming video and video on demand."

No. Keeps a mans arm strong, and depending on what porn you're watching, you could learn some tricks for when you get the real thing.

*watches porn with boyfriend*

Adds to the moment. ;)

Edit-
" It makes the brain very soft and squishy. Ick."
That wasn't porn. That was bad aim. lol.

well...
The acheivment of orgasim releases a chemical in your brain that combats cancer, and increases your IQ, just to name a few helpful reasons to do so. Also, sex itself is good for your cardiovasuclar endurance (heart and lungs) and a study found that couples who engange in sex into their greater years are more likely to live longer.
While autoeroticaxsfixiation (death by masturbation) has occured, I say porn, like anything else, is good in moderation.
