They can CGI swinging through NY but they can't get the suit right?

I agree. I don't like it very much either. It doesn't follow the original design at all! But I still can't wait for the movie! I saw the teaser trailer today and I'm so excited! Yah Spidey!

Um... in the cast list it lists Topher Grace as Venom, not Tobey Maguire, and he who is the one wearing the suit, so maybe that isn't the Venom suit at all... but I really have little to no knowledge of Spiderman history, so I could be completely wrong...

The venom suit is actually a living symbiote that spidermans wears as his costume for a short time. When it tries to permenantly merge with him he manages to remove it. It then bond s with eddie brock, who already dislikes spiderman, and vows revenge against him. The suit can actually look like what ever the wearer wants. It chose to look the same as an insult to spiderman.

thats not a venom suit... its just spidey's at night with no light.... venom's not even going to be in the movie.... and if he is, it wont be til the end..... but eddie brock will be in it.... there is a difference...
