I get paranoid because I am shy in a bikini and everytime I wear one all guys just stare like I am just a piece of meat, not understanding that this will be a job and i am not actually sexually turned on and so forth.

Ive modeled for about 2 years now and I hope to make it big one day. My dream is to be in sports illustrated or some big magazine

My Best of friends says I should model for playboy lol but I would be very shy to do that.

If I am this shy should I just consider another career?

okay, here goes......if that is really your picture....

1. Do not laugh like that, find a more demure way to look when
someone sticks a camera in your face.

2. get some tweezers and pluck between your eyes

3. Get use to it...no matter what profession you are in
guys are going to stare at you, clothed or not.

If you want to be a model, you will be paid so that people can stare at you like a piece of meat. That's what modeling is. That's why ugly, fat chicks aren't models. You're being paid for people to look at you.

If your dream is to be in Sports Illustrated, the big issue for women is the swimsuit edition where they hardly wear swimsuits at all. Exactly what are you looking for?

You either need to overcome your shyness or find a new career.

Well, guys WILL be staring at your body. But, you probably won't have to deal with it face to face. If you've been modeling for 2 years, chances are guys have already been staring at your body, and it seems to not have deterred you. I say, if you have a great body and look good enough in a bikini to model them, you should be proud of your body.

If it bothers you THAT much than consider some other skills. Or maybe if you want to keep doing this, good pay or something, just ignore them. But really, if you put up with modeling for 2 YEARS!!!!, then you should think about doing it still. You obviously enjoy this line of business, so go ahead with it!!!

If you think that you dont look in a bathing suit.. then don't do it. Most of the time, guys stare at girls who have GOOD bodies, rather than the fat ugly girls. So don't think because they are staring at you that you are a piece of meat.

Why don't you like it? You should. And I think if you model, you will earn money. If you look at your photos, you'll change your mi nd about yourself. If you want to consider another carrer, consider being a receptionist or even a waitress.

That is why drug use is so rampant among models. Also it helps keep you very thin so just develop a heroin addiction and you will be fine.
