Heat - Hyperthermia:

Dehydration, blood sugar drop, loss of electrolytes (nutrients) in sweat, and increase in body core temperature...

You'll pass out first as your vitals drop (mentioned above) and then you'll die. You're blood pressure and pulse drops and your muscles tighten.

If you stay hydrated and eat healthy you shouldn't have a problem.

Cold - Hypothermia:

Hypothermia. Your body core temp drops to the point your internals slow down. The cold chills your blood and the cold blood gets pumped into your organs and causes them to fail.

Their organs start shutting down to try to save them but at some point the body knows or thinks there is no hope..

In hypothermia the heart stops beating. Ever notice how when your hands get cold, they get stiff, the muscles are harder to move. That's what happens to the heart.
