sumo guys are not "fat" true sumo have the massive bodies and strength of powerlifters and the grace of dancers. sumo is an art and a martial art, the contest goes to the most skilled man, not just the biggest. the best sumo combine a dense body structure packed with muscle and higly refined skills

in sumo wrestling...the weight, size and strength is the most important...so i guess if there were no fat guys then there would be no sumo

They eat a lot... On Jacka** the show they had a sumo wrestler... OMG his butt was so nasty! It was like flat as a board but still fat so it just turned into like triple cheeks... ya know kinda like double chin but with the but cheeks... kinda gross

Well grant, the answer is quite simple- scientific studies prove thet the reaso for this is they eat to many stuffs. It's a funny story actually, the other day, i was coming home from the store when i got attacked by percisley 37 weaner dogs wearing sumbraros and snorkles. ahhhh...

Don't ask stupid questions like that, that's like asking why is the fruit called "orange" coloured orange.
Sumo wrestlers need to be fat because they need the body weight to either push their opponents or avoid being pushed themselves. hence the bigger the better.
