This is a man that has 9. I repeat nine D.U.i.'s and you are wondering if he should have bail. That is not good. Not good at all. Think about this all the times that he went out to drink and get high or whatever he could have called a cab or some body to get him. He should not have been driving. He was a drunk. He needs help and maybe while he is sitting in jail he will get the help that he desperately needs.
Let me tell you a true story of a little girl, one day she and her mother were on their way to church. They were singing in the car riding along. Coming toward them from the opposite direction is a drunk driver. He is way over the limit, speeding and on the wrong side of the road. The meet in the curve. He hits them head on. The little girl and here mother are both badly hurt. They were rushed to the hospital. The mother has some back and neck injuries but the little girl she is badly hurt. So badly hurt to the point that she has a cracked skull and very bad injuried eye. She has to wear an eye patch for 3 months and go to all kinds of doctors. To this day she has really bad migraines and never regained her site completely in her left eye. She also has one permanent reminder of this event a dimple in her left cheek. The drunk, he was fine. Just had a few scratches nothing really bad happened to him. He got off and is free to this day. So what do you think? Do you think that he needs to be free? I think not. He needs to rot in jail because when he gets behind the wheel drunk then that car becomes a deadly weapon in his hands.
