If we can understand that we are not separate from God, that everything (nature, soul, ego, intelligence, mind, body, society, ...) in this universe is a part of & of God, and that our every thought, word and action produce an effect in the whole scheme of things, then no one should have no trouble using his creative powers so that all in life blends in perfect harmony.

The best thing we can do is to set a good example by calming our own egos and bringing our own world into balance. Real positive change always starts with the self instead of telling others what to do.

I find that a low-impact lifestyle with lots of exercise, simple healthy food, work that I enjoy, meditation, nature and plenty of arts make for a nice mix.

There are many spiritual and religious practices that can help with attaining the right state of mind to begin the process. I believe that taming ones ego without destroying it is an important first step. When one can look beyond one's self and have true compassion for others from a standpoint of self-confidence then the rest of the elements seem to just fall into place.

However, it seems like the more I calm myself the more I find that I don't fit in with the rest of the fast-paced low self-esteem world. That part I haven't figured out yet.

God and Nature and "the Souls" don't need any help, so remove them from your equation. The Ego, intelligence, the mind are all artificial concepts or models if you will, to explain our own need to survive and reproduce, etc. Society can work in better harmony when we all learn to relax a little and tolerate each other's faults and shortcomings.

Easy. Stop believing in something that's not there. This includes "god" and "souls". Except the fact that each and every person has an ego and is smart in some weird way. Learn and exercise. Plus to as many people as you wish. And by the way, for humans, harmony, is impossible.

I'd suggest discard dogma, including God, then observe the world, open yourself to it, feel its slow rhythms and internalise them. Then focus on the sensations of your body; then look into your mind as though it is a pool of water, to see what is truly in it. Then you might use intelligence to see what you, personally, can do, to bring that calmness and unafraid empathy to those around you, simply by being and acting. That replaces ego with a truer sense of self and "other". That extends and involves Society, like a stone thrown in a pond. Just discard pre-conceptions, and grandiose aspirations. Harmony is there - we just don't percieve it through the clutter and noise.

OOOh I like your question...I believe that the balance is simply between ego and soul. god/nature associate w/ soul and body/intelligence/society resonate w/ ego. And that truly is a challange (lol I'm a pisces=yin+yang) I think meditation provides clarity, direction, intuition and guidance that can assist. PEACE LOVE & UNITY to you!!!

If people would just listen to each other the world would be a much better place. Listen without judgment and speak without damnation. If there was only one way to be in this universe we would have found it by now

Simple. Be restored to God.

The Meaning of Life is the answer to this question:

God, what is Your purpose of Existence?

For God's purpose of Existence itself defines the purpose of all that exists.

I asked God that question...

God answered, "My purpose of Existence is To give life. Since you are made in My image after My likeness, then YOUR purpose of existence is to give life."

Everything that exists is an expression of God's thinking; thus, everything reflects God's thinking.

God gives life by His unique existence, and receives life when He gives life. All of existence gives life by its unique existence to that which receives life from its unique existence. This is Nature - the union of all living (eternal) things.

You are here to give life by your unique existence to that which receives life from your unique existence. So do what you love that nourishes those who love what you love.

This is your purpose.

Relative to the Meaning of Life, when that which was once in harmony with God is restored to God, all will be harmonized. When one is not in harmony with God, the opposite of harmony is the reality.

God is life.

The reverse of the word LIVE is EVIL.

Thus EVIL is the expression of that which is opposite of God.

Be restored to God, EVIL ceases.
