When I was pregnant, I felt the same way (or a lack of feeling is perhaps a better way to put it). Before ever getting pregnant, I had always thought some magical feeling of "being with child" would overcome me, but nothing. I just felt fat. Your first ultrasound will help you to "feel pregnant". At or around seven weeks, the heartbeat can be heard. It's a beautiful sound, and reassuring that you really are carrying a little human being! Good luck and congratulations!

You are lucky then.

It is just as normal to feel nothing at all as it is to feel very sick.

A lot of women feel nothing at all until 6 ot 7 weeks, when the hormones really kick in.

I knew before my missed period that I was pregnant because my boobs were sore and bigger and I was already throwing up. I am now 7 weeks pregnant, constantly throwing up and nauseated but still hungry, bloated and gassy and have gained two bra cup sizes already. In short, I feel really miserable.

So just keep living your life and enjoying it for the rest of us. You will feel a bit better once the ultrasound and Doppler confirm that even though you feel fine, you are making a baby just right.

it's not uncommon to feel that way. It's hard to believe that you're REALLY pregnant at first, especially since you don't always have the "normal" symptoms. I skipped a period and got nauseated when I didn't eat, but that was it. Even when I first saw my baby in an ultrasound I didn't feel pregnant. It wasn't until I could start to see and feel the changes in my body that it hit me that "Hey I'm REALLY pregnant!" Don't feel bad or that you'll be a bad mother because you feel this way. It's totally normal!

you may not for a few months. My first trimester i had no morning sickness, my boobs did not really hurt. Nothing. Which is almost as scary as having all kinds of problems. Don't worry.. eventually you will start to grow bigger, and soon your doctor can hear the heartbeat. It will be a giant sigh of relief every time you hear the little heart, or you see the baby on an ultrasound. Count yourself lucky and try not to worry yourself sick. Congrats!

Oh well not everyone feels like they are when they first find out. It will come though very soon. It is a very exciting time for you. I didn't feel like i was pregnant till i was 3months along so don't worry it happens just relax and enjoy.

Sometimes you could go for a couple of months and not feel anything, but normally you can't suck in your stomach as far as you used to ,that was the first thing that I noticed.

Just wait til you have the ultrasound and hear the baby's heartbeat. I was the same way and the heartbeat brought me to reality.

Depends how far into the pregnancy you are. Plus it's different for every women. Ask your mother how pregnancy was for her, she'd be the best indicator of how you will be.
